Privacy notice
Your options, what gets collected, who sees it and why: that's what this notice from Church Payroll Guide (Shepherd & Vale Inc.) covers.
Information we gather
- A request form collects your name, your church's name, email address, phone number if you choose to share it, how many people your church pays, the kind of help you're looking for and any note you include.
- The web page where you submitted the form.
- Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs that record IP address, browser type, which pages were requested and when each request happened.
When you enter numbers in a calculator, they're saved in your browser only (local storage) so the page can recall them for you later. We never receive those numbers.
Purposes
Your request lets us connect you with a payroll or bookkeeping firm that serves churches, and we rely on server logs to help the site stay secure and available.
Sharing with firms and our host
- Church bookkeeping firms and payroll firms get your request so one of them can reply.
- Our hosting provider, who stores the site and its logs.
Advertising networks, analytics companies and tracking cookies are things we don't use.
Cookies
Because the site doesn't place any cookies, there's nothing for you to accept or decline.
Your privacy rights
In states like California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Texas, the law lets you ask what we hold, get a copy, fix errors, delete your information and opt out of any sale or sharing. We'll treat you the same way whether you exercise those rights or not.
In states such as California, handing your request to a firm that might pay us could be treated as a sale or sharing, so you can say no by visiting our Do Not Sell or Share page.
Making a request
Write to office@churchpayrollguide.com using the email address you gave on the form and tell us what you'd like done. We might ask you to verify the request before we follow through. Someone you've authorized in writing can make a request for you.
Children
This site is built for adults who manage church payroll. No details are knowingly taken from anyone who is younger than 13.
Changes
Should our practices for handling personal information change, we'll revise this notice right here.
